Ruthin School Celebrates Exceptional A Level Results

We are delighted to announce another year of exceptional A Level results.

52% of all grades were A*-A, and 92% were A*-C. 24% of our students achieved straight A*-A grades.

These results reinforce our reputation as one of the UK’s leading Independent Schools where students across the ability range can discover their true academic potential and achieve their ambitions. Most importantly, these results are a testament to the hard work of our students and the dedication, skill and support of their teachers.

We are particularly pleased with the success of so many of our students in gaining places on highly competitive Medicine and Dentistry courses, including one of our Ukrainian students who has achieved straight A* grades. But the breadth of courses our students are moving on to also demonstrates the general challenge and excitement of our intellectual community, with degrees ranging from Maths, Astrophysics and Engineering, through Dentistry and Pharmacy, to Law, Philosophy and Politics & International Relations. Universities that students are moving on to include Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Cardiff, Warwick, Manchester and Liverpool.

It is great to see such wonderful results for all Ruthin students, whether they are local day students or international students who have worked so hard and so successfully to build their English skills since they joined us.
